Leaving the Valley

Thirty-one years ago on Valentine’s Day, our infant son, Brock, went to heaven after heart surgery. Jay and I have walked through the Valley of the Shadow together one day, one month, and one year at a time.

This year, it felt like the Valley was behind us as we were able to fully celebrate life, love, our marriage and the wedding of Eliza & Michael Ruel. Jay married them in the gorgeous setting of God’s creation at Punta Mita in Mexico. And to top it off, Michael is in residency for heart surgery.
