The Meaning of Marriage

Jay married a sweet young couple recently. During the wedding weekend, I was reading Tim Keller’s book, The Meaning of Marriage. In it he says, “You look at another person and you get a glimpse of the person God is creating. I see who God is making and I want to be a part of that. I want to partner with you and God in your journey.”….. “Over the years, you lifted one another up. You have sacrificed for one another. You held one another up with prayer and thanksgiving. You confronted and rebuked. You hugged and loved each other and continually pushed each other toward me. And now look at you.” I have seen Jay grow from his life of being a business entrepreneur to being a beloved pastor. What a gift to continue to cheer him on!
